About Gooshtiran
Gooshtiran is a processed meat brand produced by Protein Gostar Sina. Its manufacturing heritage dates to 1925, when the business operated under the Arzuman name. A factory was established in 1958 at kilometre four of the old Tehran–Karaj road, and the company and its products adopted the Gooshtiran name after Iran’s 1979 revolution. This history connects the brand with the development of industrial sausage and cold-cut production in Iran.
The range extends from sausages, hot dogs and cold cuts to burgers, kebab portions, chicken nuggets, breaded products, falafel, and packaged meat and poultry. Different formats serve different purchasing needs: selected cold cuts are offered in larger rolls as well as family packs, while burgers and prepared products provide options for meal preparation. These distinctions make the range relevant to both household shoppers and professional food buyers.
The Gooshtiran production unit is located in Shadabad, Tehran, with a separate Tehran sales and distribution office. Its manufacturer, Protein Gostar Sina, was formed in 2012 through the merger of Gooshtiran Company and Toyour Urmia and operates within the Sina food industries holding group. Gooshtiran retains a distinct product identity within this broader business, alongside the manufacturer’s other brands and production activities.
For trade buyers, the range is best assessed at product level. Meat type, formulation, pack format and intended kitchen use distinguish a cold-cut roll from a family pack, burger or breaded chicken product. These characteristics affect slicing, portioning and preparation, providing a practical basis for procurement across a varied portfolio.
