About Hype
Hype Energy is an energy drink brand established in 1994. Motorsport has been part of its identity since its early years, with racing partnerships contributing to its development and visibility. Former Formula One driver Bertrand Gachot began distributing Hype products in France before becoming the company’s CEO in 2000.
The brand’s international portfolio has expanded beyond conventional energy drinks. Its global range includes regular, sugar-free and flavoured energy drinks, alongside performance and hydration beverages and protein products. Product development has introduced different formulations, flavours and formats across these categories.
In Iran, Hype’s manufacturing activities are associated with Pars Kasht Agro-Industrial Complex in Chaharbagh, Alborz Province. The manufacturer states that its operation was launched in 2017 to produce and package energy drinks and carbonated beverages under licence from Hype. Its published Hype range includes MFP, UP and Mojito, together with MFP in a glass bottle.
The Iranian manufacturer’s catalogue presents 250 ml cans and glass bottles, with multipack formats for distribution and retail. Hype’s presence in Iran therefore combines an international brand identity with local beverage manufacturing and packaging operations.
