About Majid
Majid offers sauces, lime juice, pastes and canned foods for everyday cooking and dining. The brand originates from Majid Food Industries Complex in Shushtar, which began operating in 1991 with jam and lime juice production lines before expanding into additional food categories. Azin Shushtar and Barg Sabz Jonub are two manufacturing companies within the complex, producing different parts of the range sold under the Majid name.
Sauces and condiments form an important part of the portfolio. The selection includes mayonnaise, reduced-fat and chilli mayonnaise, regular and hot ketchup, hot pepper sauce, French dressing and Thousand Island dressing. Lime juice, vinegar, tomato paste and pomegranate molasses complement this range, serving as cooking ingredients and table condiments across a variety of dishes.
Majid’s canned food range covers fish, pulses, vegetables and prepared meals. Products include canned fish, pinto beans, sweet corn, green peas, lentils and aubergine dishes, alongside Persian stews such as ghormeh sabzi, gheimeh and ghalieh mahi. Pickled vegetables, pickled cucumbers and brined olives extend the savoury selection. Jams, kashk, rosewater and mint distillate provide further options for breakfast, cooking and traditional food preparation.
The brand offers several pack sizes and formats, from individual sauce and lime juice portions to household packs and larger foodservice formats. Tomato paste, for example, is available in small and multi-kilogram packs, while brined olives are offered in glass jars and larger containers. These formats accommodate use in homes, restaurants and catering operations. The complex’s manufacturing activities are based in Shushtar, with a Tehran office providing an additional point of contact.
