Macpasta

MAK is an Iranian pasta brand produced by Khoshnam Food Industries, with manufacturing operations dating back to 2009. Khoshnam belongs to the Changizi Group, whose background in flour milling and grain processing provided the foundation for the development of MAK’s pasta business. The brand’s factory is located near Shahin Shahr in Isfahan Province.

The core range comprises spaghetti and other long pasta, shaped pasta and lasagne. Formats such as linguine, penne and shells serve different cooking applications, while both retail packs and bulk pasta are offered. The wider portfolio includes traditional Iranian noodles for ash soups and rice dishes, as well as rice, flour, cake mixes and dessert mixes.

MAK’s pasta manufacturing operations have been developed using Italian machinery. Domestic distribution involves partners including Golpakhsh Aval, which also hosted the formal introduction of the brand’s newer product categories. MAK has a history of exhibiting at Gulfood in Dubai as part of its international commercial development.

The range brings together pasta and lasagne with noodles used in traditional Iranian cooking. Retail and bulk packaging add a further distinction between household purchasing and larger-volume requirements.
