Every Iranian has at least once picked up products from the shelves of stores and shops belonging to Oghab Halva Company and is familiar with its taste. However, only some have researched the history of Oghab Company to obtain proper information. Therefore, we aim to introduce you to this famous and beloved Iranian company. The late Mr. Seyed Jalil Naseri founded the Oghab Halva Company in 1940. He started his work by launching a small workshop in the Pachenar neighborhood of Tehran. After much effort, he managed to move this workshop to Shahriar and transform it into a larger factory. After that, Oghab designed its path of growth and expansion so that today, it is known as “the largest sesame-based product manufacturing and distribution company in Iran.”  

An important part of Oghab Company’s history took shape in 1999, ending in the company’s attempt to establish various units while utilizing the ISO9001 quality management system. Oghab’s development and expansion phases have been carefully planned step-by-step, from offering diverse products to physical expansions and technological advancements. Moreover, expanding laboratory testing and quality control services allowed this group to enter serious development stages in the market—so much so that different sections, such as production halls with over 5,000 square meters of space, were built. Warehouses with over 3,700 square meters were also considered for storing these goods.

Like any successful and lasting brand, Oghab Halva Company has built an illustrious 80-year history by outlining its vision and goals. The most important part is providing healthy and hygienic products to the people of Iran.
