Oxab

OXAB is an Iranian bottled drinking-water brand produced by Ab Nirobakhsh Golestan Co., with its core proposition built around oxygen-enriched drinking water. The brand's commercial presence can be traced back to 2009, the same period in which oxygen-enriched bottled drinking water was incorporated into Iran's national bottled-water standard. Rather than developing around multiple beverage categories, OXAB has maintained a relatively focused identity centred on this particular type of packaged drinking water.

OXAB is currently available in several bottle formats designed for different consumption occasions, including 330 ml, 400 ml, 500 ml, 1 litre and 1.5 litre packs. According to the company's technical description, oxygen is physically introduced into the water during processing, while Iranian National Standard No. 6694 defines dissolved oxygen levels of 50–60 mg/L for oxygen-enriched packaged drinking water.

Production is based at Ab Nirobakhsh Golestan's facility on the Gorgan–Mashhad road in Golestan Province. The company lists ISO 22000:2018, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 10002:2019 alongside Iranian standard, health-operation and R&D certifications. OXAB also describes packaging features specifically intended to support the product's technical characteristics, including gas-tight closures and protective outer packaging designed to limit exposure during storage and distribution.

From an industry perspective, OXAB faces a different product-management challenge from a conventional bottled-water brand. Its differentiation depends not only on water quality or packaging format, but on maintaining a measurable dissolved-oxygen specification throughout production, filling, storage and distribution. Process control, package integrity and shelf-life stability therefore become central to preserving the proposition on which the brand is built. For OXAB, the strongest long-term positioning lies in communicating these measurable product characteristics clearly while keeping technical differentiation distinct from medical or therapeutic claims.
