Gonabad Starch operates in wheat processing and the manufacture of ingredients for the food industry. Established in the Iranian year 1369, the cooperative expanded into industrial production with the commissioning of its wheat-flour starch and gluten unit in 1375. Located in Gonabad, the manufacturing operation was developed to support agricultural processing, create employment and meet food manufacturers’ requirements for raw materials. Grain processing and the production of wheat-derived ingredients remain central to the company’s business.

The company’s current product range includes highly refined starch, wheat gluten, glucose syrup and maltodextrin. These ingredients are supplied for use in industrial formulations and manufacturing processes. By covering starch-based ingredients, wheat protein and sweeteners, Gonabad Starch serves businesses that incorporate wheat-derived materials into their finished products. Its portfolio places the company within the upstream ingredient supply chain for food production.
