Istaram

Istaram Food Industries Group, under the name Pourakbarnezhad Food Industries, started its activity in 2001 by producing products such as cakes and pastries under the Istaram brand name. Since 1991, the company has created sugar cubes, candy, and traditional sweets in a small workshop. After 2001, with the help of world-advanced knowledge and technology and by utilizing academic research, Istaram has had remarkable growth. In addition to supplying domestic markets, it exports to countries including Azerbaijan, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Dubai, Yemen, Bahrain, Romania, Armenia, Tajikistan, Libya, Russia and Qatar. Bahram Pourakbarnezhad founded Istaram, and his sons, the Pourakbarnezhad brothers, now run it.

Istaram cake varieties include:

• Two-tone brunch cake, cocoa, vanilla, cream filled, cocoa cream filled, cocoa-with cream filling, chocolate dragee, Damask rose Cake, rocky chocolate, chocolate chips, and raisin chocolate cake.
