About Mihan
Mihan is an Iranian ice cream and dairy brand whose origins date to 1354 in the Iranian calendar (1975–76). Founded by Ayoub Paydari, the business began with ice cream production and subsequently expanded into industrial manufacturing and a broader dairy range. The Mihan name is used across products manufactured within the Mihan group, providing a shared brand identity for its ice cream and dairy operations.
The dairy portfolio includes plain and flavoured milk, yogurt, cheese, cream, doogh, butter, kashk and dairy desserts. Its ice cream range spans sticks, cones, cups, take-home tubs, ice lollies, sorbets, sundaes, and biscuit- and cake-based formats. Alongside household packs, catering products extend the range into foodservice applications.
A substantial part of Mihan’s manufacturing infrastructure is located in Eslamshahr, Tehran Province. Its facilities include ice cream production operations and Mihan Dairy City, a dedicated complex developed for multiple dairy categories. Domestic supply is supported by the group’s distribution network, connecting manufacturing operations with retail markets across Iran.
Mihan’s combination of frozen ice cream, fresh dairy and shelf-stable milk creates distinct storage and distribution requirements. Frozen products depend on uninterrupted temperature control, fresh dairy requires careful coordination of refrigeration and delivery times, and shelf-stable milk has handling requirements determined by its processing and packaging. For wholesale buyers and distributors, product selection therefore needs to be considered alongside storage capacity, replenishment frequency and transport arrangements.
