About Mikaelian
Mikaelian is a long-established Iranian meat products brand with roots in a family business founded in Tehran in 1931. Drawing on their experience in meat processing, the Armenian Mikaelian family began producing and selling sausages and cold cuts, establishing a name that became part of Iran’s processed meat industry.
The business grew from its original workshop and shop into factory production. A manufacturing plant opened in Tehran’s Shamsabad district in the late 1950s, followed by a new facility in Abbasabad Industrial Estate in 2008–09. These developments supported the expansion of the brand’s production operations.
Mikaelian’s range includes sausages, cocktail sausages, hot dogs, frankfurters and beef and chicken cold cuts. Its wider portfolio features pepperoni, salami, chorizo, beef and chicken bacon-style products, and basturma, bringing together familiar everyday products and more distinctive deli specialities.
The range is offered in formats that include bulk products, family packs and vacuum-packed portions. These options serve household shoppers, specialist meat retailers and foodservice businesses. The brand’s identity combines its family heritage with an established manufacturing operation and a varied selection of processed meat products.
