About Soheil Powder
Soheil Powder (widely known as Soheil Baking Powder) is an Iranian manufacturer specializing in baking ingredients, chemical leavening agents, and culinary improvers. Originally founded in 1993 by Alireza Sedghian in Tehran’s Qeytarieh district (Soheil Street), the business was officially incorporated as Soheil Powder Co. in 1998 (Registration No. 152801, National ID 10101955896) and subsequently expanded into a mechanized industrial facility in Abbas Abad Industrial City.
The company’s product portfolio centers on two specialized functional lines: Single-Action Baking Powder and Falafel Specialized Improver Powder. Soheil’s single-action baking powder is formulated to initiate rapid leavening upon contact with liquid at room temperature, providing volume and a uniform sponge structure for cakes, cupcakes, cookies, quick breads, pancakes, and waffles. Its specialized falafel improver combines leavening agents, stabilizers, and emulsifiers designed for commercial kitchens and fast-food chains to create a light, porous interior texture, enhance outer crispness, and reduce oil absorption during deep-frying in falafel and battered fried foods.
Soheil Powder operates its automated stainless-steel production and packaging plant in Abbas Abad Industrial City (Tehran Province), supported by an in-house quality control and R&D laboratory that tests each batch for leavening power and stability. Catering to both retail households and bulk B2B buyers—including bakeries, pastry workshops, restaurants, and large-scale food factories—the company supplies its products in 100 g, 250 g, 1 kg, 3 kg, 12 kg, and 25 kg packaging formats across domestic and export markets.
