Tak Makaron

Tak Makaron is a long-established Iranian pasta and grain-based food brand founded in 1994. The business was developed with a focus on large-scale continuous pasta manufacturing, with its principal production complex subsequently established on the Karaj–Qazvin corridor in Alborz Province. Production began before the plant's formal inauguration, which took place in 1998, and continuous automated processing became an important part of Tak Makaron's industrial model from its early development.

Spaghetti, short-cut pasta and lasagna remain at the core of the Tak Makaron portfolio, offered across numerous shapes, diameters and pack formats for household, foodservice and export markets. The wider range has gradually expanded into flour and flour-based products, cake mixes, breakfast cereals, snacks, seasonings and selected bakery and croissant products. This diversification has developed Tak Makaron beyond a conventional pasta brand into a broader grain-processing and packaged-food business.

The company's principal manufacturing complex is located at Km 14 of the Karaj–Qazvin Highway in Alborz Province. Tak Makaron's official corporate profile describes an approximately 18-hectare site with around 88,000 square metres of covered facilities and several independent continuous pasta and spaghetti lines. Flour and semolina processing also form part of the wider group's raw-material structure, with Arddaran operating as a related business within the Tak Makaron holding. The company has a long-established export presence, with its current corporate profile reporting distribution to dozens of international markets.

From a manufacturing perspective, dried-pasta quality begins well before shaping. Wheat and semolina characteristics, particle-size consistency, protein quality, hydration, extrusion conditions and—critically—the temperature and humidity profile during drying all influence colour, structural strength, cooking time and cooking loss. For a manufacturer producing a wide range of shapes and diameters across domestic and export specifications, the challenge is to deliver predictable cooking performance despite significant differences in product geometry. Integrating raw-material control with continuous processing and disciplined drying management is therefore a central capability within Tak Makaron's industrial model.
