About Tordak
Tordak is an established Iranian food brand specializing in breading mixes, flours, and grain-based products, owned and operated by Tordak Co. (Private Joint Stock). Originally founded in 1980 by Ali Saraji alongside a team of food science engineers in the coastal city of Babolsar (Mazandaran Province), the company was officially registered in 1984. Tordak began its industrial operations as one of Iran's early producers of ready-to-use breading powders before expanding its manufacturing scope into a broader range of culinary mixes, grains, and packaged food ingredients.
The brand’s product portfolio encompasses over 100 registered SKUs across several food categories. Its core line consists of seasoned and unseasoned coatings and breading products, including chicken breading mixes (original, spicy, and smoky), fish and shrimp breading powders, flavored fillet coatings (onion & thyme, herb, sesame & cumin, Mexican, and shallot), tempura batter mixes, chicken strips mixes, and golden flaky panko breadcrumbs. Additionally, Tordak produces specialty flours (wheat, rice, corn, and chickpea flour), processed grains (wheat groats, barley groats, hulled barley, and rolled oats/barley), textured soy protein, semi-prepared meal mixes (kotlet, herb frittata/kuku sabzi, and pizza dough mixes), cake and dessert powders, as well as packaged spices and dried fruits
Tordak’s manufacturing facility is located in Babolsar, where the company established its licensed Research and Development (R&D) unit in 1999 alongside in-house microbiological and chemical quality control laboratories. In addition to its primary brand, the company holds several registered trademarks—including Tordak Plus, Torquinoa, and Kuina—and, according to official company disclosures, maintains commercial activities in both the domestic Iranian market and international export destinations including Germany and the United Kingdom.
