Shahrzad Tea is one of Iran's long-established packaged tea brands, with its origins dating to 1965 and the tea trading activities of its founder, Bagher Daryani. The brand's history predates the formal registration of Shahrzad Tea Co. in 1973, reflecting an earlier commercial presence in Iran's tea market.

Shahrzad's product identity has traditionally centred on imported and packaged teas, including black tea, Calcutta tea, Assam, Darjeeling, Ceylon, Earl Grey, flavoured teas, green tea and tea bags. Manufacturing and packaging activities associated with the company are centred at its facility in Baharestan Industrial Town in Alborz Province.

Shahrzad's long-standing brand name and its historical connection with Iran's packaged tea market remain important elements of its identity. Preserving that heritage while keeping the brand relevant to today's market represents a particularly valuable asset for its future development.
