Miwa

MIWA is an Iranian brand of natural mineral water and carbonated beverages manufactured by Alborz Polur Manufacturing and Trading Co. Its mineral water comes from springs in the Polur region of the Alborz Mountains and is bottled at the company’s facility near the beginning of Lasem Road in Larijan, Amol County. Renewed investment by new shareholders from 1399 in the Iranian calendar (2020–21) forms part of the company’s development history. MIWA operates within the ALEF group.

The core range comprises natural mineral water in 200 ml, 250 ml, 330 ml, 500 ml and 1.5 litre bottles. Plain sparkling water and a lemon-flavoured carbonated beverage are also offered in one-litre formats. These categories extend the portfolio beyond still mineral water to include both unflavoured and flavoured carbonated products.

Alborz Polur’s manufacturing infrastructure includes automated bottling and packaging lines from Germany’s KRONES and water-processing and quality-control equipment from Italy’s Water Systems. MIWA maintains separate sales contacts for retail distribution, wholesale, chain and online retail, corporate customers, regional markets and export enquiries.

Bottle size and product category are central to MIWA’s commercial offering. Smaller formats support individual servings and hospitality requirements, while larger bottles accommodate different consumption occasions. The brand’s announced collaboration with Raees Coffee to supply mineral water with a customised visual identity also illustrates its application in foodservice and corporate supply.
