Pars Oil Company was established in 1954. It is a public joint stock company founded by Hossein Ghasemiyeh. Its main products include various vegetable and animal oils. The company was initially launched for cotton ginning and oil extraction and later changed its activity to an oil refining company. The brand name of this company is Ghoo, and it has been active in Iran’s food industry under this name for a long time. The commercial brands Kadbanoo and Atlas Gold Vegetable Butter are also considered subgroups of Pars Animal Oil Company. In recent years, due to numerous problems, Pars Vegetable Oil Company, whose main shares belonged to the Kosar Economic Organization, was sold through an auction to Nahangol Company. Nahangol itself has production subgroups and reputable brands such as Maryam Vegetable Oil, Persian Gulf Oil Tank Company, Maryam Daily Distribution Company, Zeitoon Talaei Company, and Eksdaneh Oil Extraction Company.
The history of this company has made it a pioneer, leader, and the oldest oil refining and various edible oil production factories in Iran. The production capacity of this factory is about 120 tons per year. The main products of this company are:
