Takdaneh

Takdaneh is a long-established Iranian fruit-processing and beverage brand whose operations began in 1983 in Marand, East Azerbaijan Province. Established in a fruit-growing region, the business developed beyond the packaging of finished beverages into broader fruit-processing activities, including the production of fruit concentrates and purées alongside juices and nectars.

Takdaneh's consumer portfolio today spans 100% fruit juices, nectars and fruit-based drinks in one-litre, 200 ml and canned formats. The range includes apple, pomegranate, sour cherry, pulpy orange, red grape, grapefruit, barberry and mixed-fruit juices alongside peach, mango, apricot, pineapple and apple-banana nectars. The portfolio also includes the Takdaneh Kids range and beverages such as mint lemonade and aloe vera drinks, allowing the brand to address different consumption occasions and pack sizes.

The company's principal manufacturing facility is located on the Marand–Bazargan Road, while its commercial head office operates in Tehran. The plant's location within a major agricultural region has historically supported the company's fruit-processing model. Takdaneh also has a documented history of export activity, while its production of concentrates and fruit purées gives part of the business an ingredient-supply dimension alongside its consumer beverage portfolio.

From a manufacturing perspective, one of the central challenges in juice and nectar production is managing the natural variability of fruit. Variety, harvest conditions, sugar content, acidity, colour, aroma and soluble solids can change between lots, while consumers expect a relatively consistent finished product. For a business producing direct juices, nectars, fruit drinks, concentrates and purées, raw-material control, formulation, thermal processing and packaging therefore need to work as an integrated system.
