Chuckles

Chuckles is an Iranian potato chip and snack brand introduced by Behara Food Industry Co. in 2009. Its manufacturing background dates to 2005, when Behara began producing Crunchips under licence from Germany’s Lorenz. The launch of Chuckles marked the development of an independent Iranian brand drawing on that production experience.

The range includes potato chips, Royal chips, corn snacks, cereal-based snacks and snack sticks. Spiral, ball and ring shapes form part of the brand’s product identity. The portfolio also varies by formulation: its cereal-based snacks combine several grain ingredients, while the cheese-flavoured sticks use corn and potato. These differences give buyers distinct product families to consider beyond flavour alone.

Behara’s manufacturing site is located in Toos Industrial Estate in Mashhad. The company also markets other foods under separate brands, including Huggles, Nutles and Maribo. Within this wider business, Chuckles focuses on chips and savoury snacks. Its product range should therefore be distinguished from the manufacturer’s complete portfolio.
