‌Benis

Benis is an Iranian confectionery brand specialising in cakes, biscuits, wafers and chocolate-based products, manufactured by Aras Par Benis Co. Its industrial heritage is linked to the Rasoulavi family's long-standing involvement in cake and baked-goods manufacturing, a history reflected in the brand's use of the “Since 1969” identity. The legal entity Aras Par Benis was subsequently registered in Shabestar in 2002, while BENIS is separately registered as a trademark covering several confectionery categories.

The Benis portfolio spans a broad range of packaged confectionery products, including sponge and layered cakes, filled cakes, brownies, rolls and cupcakes, alongside biscuits, wafers, cookies and chocolate products. Registered product records for Aras Par Benis also document a substantial range of Benis-labelled cakes and wafers across different flavours, fillings and formats.

Manufacturing is centred in Benis, near Shabestar in East Azerbaijan Province, giving the brand an unusually direct connection between its geographic origin and production identity. The company's Tehran office supports its administrative and commercial activities, while Benis-labelled products also have a documented export history. Recent conformity records from 2025 identify Aras Par Benis as the manufacturer of Benis-branded biscuits, wafers, cakes and chocolate confectionery intended for international markets.

From an industry perspective, the operational challenge behind a portfolio such as Benis extends beyond product variety. Cakes and wafers require close control over texture, moisture, fillings, coatings, shelf life and packaging performance, particularly when products move through large-scale distribution networks. Maintaining this sensory and technical consistency across multiple formats is therefore a central part of sustaining the brand at scale.
