Protein Gostar Sina (Gooshtiran) is the first meat product manufacturer in Iran. It started operations in 1925 under the name Arezoman. After the Islamic Revolution, the name was changed to Gooshtiran. The development and expansion of Gooshtiran company started in 1958 in the new factory, using the latest global technologies and equipment, and has continued to grow since then. Gooshtiran is part of the Sinaprotein Group, which also includes the Urmia Poultry Company. Gooshtiran has broiler chicken farms, parent-stock chicken farms, and a fully automated slaughterhouse with a capacity of 4000 birds per hour. The major brands of the Sinaprotein Group are Gooshtiran, Arezoman, Etmian, Red Meat, and Chicken.
