About Parmida
Parmida is an Iranian chocolate brand established in 1998 within Kian Chocolate Kimia Company. Dark chocolate has been central to the brand from its earliest years, with different cocoa-percentage formats becoming an important part of Parmida's product identity.
Over time, Parmida has expanded beyond dark chocolate into a broader portfolio that includes chocolate tablets, dragees, spreads, reception and gift chocolates, as well as professional products for cafés and confectionery businesses. Its current dark chocolate range includes products with 60%, 72%, 84% and 96% cocoa content.
Alongside its consumer portfolio, Parmida has developed a professional chocolate range for pastry, café and foodservice applications, including block and couverture chocolates and cocoa-based spreads. The brand has also maintained an active presence at domestic and international confectionery exhibitions as part of its wider market development.
Parmida's long-standing specialization in chocolate—particularly dark chocolate—has given the brand a clearly defined position within Iran's confectionery market. Within Foodex Iran, the combination of this product focus with continued portfolio and international market development forms an important part of Parmida's identity.
