About Shiba
SHIBA is an Iranian confectionery brand produced by Shiba Food Industries, formerly known as Shiva Manufacturing Co. The business began manufacturing in Hashtgerd Industrial City in 1993. Gummy candies and gelatin-based confectionery form the core of the brand’s portfolio, which has gradually expanded to include other soft sweets and chocolate-coated products.
The SHIBA range includes gummies, Likoritz chewy sweets, marshmallows, fruit soft jellies, Vitajelly, Mallowbar and Angel Kiss winter confectionery. Its gummies come in a variety of shapes, flavours and pack sizes, including fruit and cola flavours, animal and heart shapes, and assorted mixes. Different packaging formats provide a choice of portion sizes.
Each product category offers a distinct texture and composition. SHIBA marshmallows have a soft, aerated texture, while Mallowbar combines marshmallow with a chocolate coating. Fruit soft jellies offer another soft confectionery format. Angel Kiss, known in Iran as “winter ice cream,” consists of a biscuit base, a vanilla-flavoured cream layer and a chocolate coating.
The brand’s visual identity and storytelling centre on SHIBA, an adventurous astronaut. Imaginary planets represent different product categories, creating a playful narrative aimed at children and teenagers. SHIBA sits alongside SHIBABA, Bubble Trouble and Cremona within the manufacturer’s brand portfolio, with each brand serving its own product categories and maintaining a distinct identity.
