Shilton is an Iranian canned food, sauce and condiment brand associated with Iran Protein Company. Products were introduced under the Shilton name in 1995, with canned tuna forming a core part of the range. The brand subsequently expanded into other canned fish and poultry products, plant-based canned foods and ingredients used in meal preparation.
Its range includes tuna in vegetable oil, olive oil and brine, alongside flavoured tuna varieties and canned marlin, chicken and turkey. Other categories include canned pulses and vegetables, eggplant and lentil dishes, pasta sauce with soy, tomato paste and pickled cucumbers. The sauce selection spans mayonnaise, ketchup, Thousand Island and French dressings, mustard, garlic, barbecue, balsamic and Thai chilli sauces. White sugar and broken sugar pieces round out the range.
Iran Protein Company lists its head office in Tehran and its factory in the Kordan area of Alborz Province. Shilton offers formats for household use as well as professional kitchens and catering businesses, including single-serving sauce sachets and selected sauces and tomato paste in bulk packs.
