About Pemina
Pemina is Solico Group’s specialist brand for frozen, prepared and ready-to-cook foods. Launched in 2012–2013, it entered the market with frozen French fries before expanding its range using the group’s food manufacturing infrastructure.
Its portfolio spans burgers, breaded products, prepared and frozen vegetables, seafood, snacks, kebabs, doner and potato products. This breadth gives Pemina a presence across several food categories, with products offered for both home cooking and professional foodservice applications.
Individual quick freezing (IQF) is among the technologies used in Pemina’s production processes, including its frozen vegetable range. The combination of plant-based ingredients, meat and seafood products addresses different preparation needs. For professional buyers, distinguishing ready-to-eat items from those requiring cooking, and assessing portion sizes and preparation instructions, are practical considerations in purchasing and kitchen operations.
Pemina also forms part of Solico’s regional manufacturing expansion. In January 2026, the group announced the launch of SoFood, a production facility in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone. Its first phase focuses on meat and protein products under the Pemina brand, with distribution aimed at GCC and export markets.
